We are based at 10 Neminath Society here in Ahmedabad. It’s a residential area mostly, so it stays fairly calm compared to the main city center. Our office is just a regular house that we converted into a workspace. There are a few desks, some computers, and a lot of coffee mugs lying around. We do consulting work, which basically means we spend a lot of time talking to people and trying to solve problems for their businesses. It is not the kind of place with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, if you walk in, you’ll just see us working at our stations or arguing about a project. Ahmedabad is a hot city, so the fan is always going. We’ve been in Neminath Society for a good bit of time now and the neighbors know us. We don’t really have a big sign outside or anything. Most of our work comes from word of mouth or people we have known for years. It is a simple way to run a business. We don't worry about being fancy or looking corporate. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get it done right. Some days are slow and we spend time catching up on news, but other days we are working late into the night to finish up a report. It’s just how it goes when you’re running a small consulting outfit from a house in India.
