K Lal & Co.

You can find us over at Ravi Estate on Dudheshwar Road. We are right opposite the Gurudwara, which makes it very easy to explain the directions to anyone who hasn't visited K Lal & Co. before. It is an old part of the city, inside the Old Rustam Mill Compound. Our business has been operating out of this specific spot for quite some time now. The building is B/8. It isn't one of those new glass buildings you see in the posh areas. It has got that old-school industrial feel to it that you only find in Ahmedabad’s older estates. We do a lot of trading and supplying from here. There is always someone coming in to pick up an order or a truck dropping off a fresh delivery. The stairs can be a bit narrow and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works perfectly for what we do. We know all our neighbors well around here. It is a tight-knit spot and everyone helps each other out. We deal with customers who have been coming to us for decades, sometimes even their sons come in now. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit messy and muddy, but we still open up the shutters on time. It is just the way we do things. We don't have a big marketing team. It is just us handling the paperwork and making sure the goods are correct.
