Our office is situated on the 7th floor of Block-C in the Indraprastha Complex. Being up this high gives us a pretty decent view of Thaltej, though most of the time we are too busy to really look out the window. Drive In Road is usually packed with cars, and you can see the flow of traffic from the balcony if you step out for a breather. We have been in this spot for a good while, and the routine hasn't changed much over the years. We show up, brew some tea, and start going through the day's tasks. The complex itself is quite large, so sometimes new visitors get a bit lost looking for the right block, but once they find the elevators, it’s a straight shot up. The workspace is simple, with plenty of files and folders tucked away in cabinets. It gets a bit noisy when the schools nearby let out, but otherwise, it is a steady environment. We are just a group of people trying to keep things running smoothly. There is no big corporate vibe here; it is more about getting the job done and heading home to our families. Some days are faster than others, depending on what is on the desk. We have grown used to the quirks of the building, like the way the hallway lights flicker sometimes. It is just how it is here in Thaltej. We do our best with what we have.
