We set up Karnavati Developers right across from the Prernatirth-2 Bungalows, near the Derasar. It’s a local neighborhood where everyone kind of knows everyone else. We’ve been involved in building around here for a while now. It’s a nice spot because it feels like a community, not just a bunch of concrete. Our work is mostly focused on making sure houses are built solid. We don’t go in for anything too flashy that doesn’t serve a purpose. Usually, our days are spent checking on the masonry or talking to the electricians about where the wiring is going. We keep the office doors open most of the time so the air flows through. People walk by on their way to the Derasar and sometimes they stop to chat about how the latest project is coming along. We like that. It keeps us grounded in what the neighborhood actually wants. Construction has its headaches, like when the rain starts unexpectedly or a delivery gets stuck in traffic, but we manage. We aren’t a giant corporation with hundreds of employees, just a dedicated group of people who know how to put a building together. We take things one step at a time and try to make sure the finished product is something we aren’t embarrassed by. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down. There is always something that needs to be checked or fixed.
