Jmc Projects(I) Ltd.

The office for Jmc Projects(I) Ltd. is located on the first floor of Kanak Society in the Kankaria area. We are in C-3, right near Ved Mandir, so it’s a pretty easy spot to explain to people when they are visiting for the first time. Ahmedabad can get incredibly dusty, and being on the first floor means we see plenty of it blowing in from the street. It’s a standard residential-turned-office space that serves as our main base for managing the local works. We have a small team here that looks after the billing and the site rotations. The rooms are a bit cramped because we have to store a lot of safety gear and surveying equipment in the back. It isn't the quietest place since the temple nearby draws quite a crowd on certain days. We usually keep the windows shut to block out the noise and the heat. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through spreadsheets. We don't bother with fancy uniforms or anything; everyone just wears what is comfortable for a day that might involve a trip to a construction site. The kitchen area is tiny, so we usually end up eating lunch at our desks while we chat about the latest project delays. It is a very straightforward way of working, focusing on getting the job done without any unnecessary fluff or corporate talk in this corner of Gujarat.
