Our spot is right by the Desai Petrol Pump in Gandhinagar, over in the Panchamrut Society at B-09. It’s a handy location since the petrol pump is such a well-known landmark for everyone in the area. We deal with the cement business here, helping out with local supply and distribution around Kalol. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a practical space where we handle the orders and keep the books. Gujarat is a busy place for construction right now, so there's usually something happening outside our door. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to truck drivers about their routes. Some days the dust from the road gets in if we leave the door open, but that's just part of the job. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and the locals know where to find us. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t go in for big meetings or long presentations. We just make sure the cement gets where it needs to go on time. Sometimes the traffic near the pump gets backed up, which makes things a bit interesting during the rush hour. We keep a small team here. Everyone knows what they have to do when they walk in. We like the neighborhood. It feels like a real community where people know each other. We try to be helpful when people ask about supplies. It's just a regular day-to-day business for us, no frills or extras.
