Jigar Furniture Mart/Labh Electroplaters

If you head down to Nanavati Estate near Chakudia Mahadev, you’ll find us at B-1. We run Jigar Furniture Mart along with Labh Electroplaters. It’s a bit of an odd mix to some, but it’s how we’ve always done it here in Rakhial. On one side, we’ve got the furniture parts, and on the other, we do the plating work. It gets pretty loud sometimes with the machinery running and people moving stuff around. Being right opposite Vatan Soap makes it easy for folks to find the place. The estate is old, and the walls have seen better days, but the equipment inside works just fine. We spend most of our time dealing with metal and wood. There’s usually a bit of a smell from the plating tanks, but you get used to it after a few minutes. We don’t have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. People come in, look at what we’ve got, or bring in their items for plating. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are rarely clean. We’ve been in this spot for years, so we know most of the other shop owners around here. It’s a tight-knit area. We open up early and stay until the last job is done. Sometimes we sit outside for a tea break when things quiet down. It’s just a regular local business trying to get the orders out on time for whoever walks through the door.
