Jewel Cast & Techno

Jewel Cast & Techno is tucked away at 237, Doshiwala’s Pole. If you aren't familiar with the poles, they are these narrow, winding streets that have a lot of history. It’s a tight squeeze getting through sometimes, especially when there are carts or scooters in the way. Our workshop is small and focused on the technical side of making jewelry. We do a lot of casting and specialized work that requires a bit of patience. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a big showroom with lights. Instead, it’s mostly tools, wax molds, and the smell of melting metal. We spend hours bent over benches. It’s hard on the eyes, but it’s the work we know how to do. There’s a lot of tradition in this area, and many of the shops around here have been doing the same thing for generations. We fit right into that. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat, and we take a break for a few minutes. The walls are a bit stained from the smoke, and the floor is never perfectly clean no matter how much we sweep. That’s just the nature of a casting shop. We don’t have a website or a big advertising budget. Word travels by mouth around the pole. If someone needs something cast or a bit of techno work done on a piece, they eventually find their way to our door.
