Jess Control

Our shop is number 27 in the Gujarat Grain Market, right opposite the old Anupam Cinema in Khokhra. Being located in a grain market means there is always a lot of activity, with trucks backing in and laborers moving sacks around. It can get pretty dusty and noisy, but that’s just the environment we are used to. At Jess Control, we focus on things like control panels and other electrical systems for industrial use. The shop isn’t very big, and it’s usually filled with wires, tools, and metal boxes waiting to be wired up. We don’t have a fancy office with air conditioning; we just keep the doors open and the ceiling fans on high. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of coffee and a look at the projects we have on the bench. Sometimes the cinema across the street brings in a crowd, which makes the road even more chaotic than usual. We’ve been in this spot for years and know all the other traders in the market. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. We spend our days troubleshooting problems or building new units from scratch. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We don’t really bother with big advertising. People in the area know where we are if they need something fixed or built, and they just walk in.
