Marine Exim

Our office is located at number 204 in Jb House, right across the street from Swati Society. It is a fairly quiet spot, which is nice for getting work done. We handle marine exports and imports here. It’s not a big company with hundreds of people, just a small team of us. Most of our morning is spent looking at shipping schedules and replying to emails from suppliers. The view from our window looks out onto the society gate, so we see people coming and going all day. We don't have any fancy mission statements or big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the cargo gets where it needs to go on time. Sometimes the paperwork for customs gets a bit complicated, but we’ve been doing this long enough to figure it out. There’s a small tea stall just around the corner where we usually take a break in the afternoon. We like being in this part of town because it’s easy for the delivery drivers to find us. The office itself is pretty basic, with a few computers and a lot of binders. We don't spend money on advertising; we just rely on people knowing we do a decent job. It can get quite hot in the office during the summer, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. It’s just a regular, everyday business that focuses on the task at hand.
