Jayshree Pharmaceutical

Jayshree Pharmaceutical is over at 76, Arvind Estate. We are pretty close to Indica Lab in the Bapunagar area. Being in an estate means there are always trucks idling outside and the sound of machinery somewhere in the distance. It is an industrial kind of place, so it isn't very quiet, but it’s where we do our work. Our unit is just one of many in this block. We have a lot of space for the equipment and the boxes we have to move around daily. The walls are a plain grey color and the floor is concrete because it needs to be tough for all the heavy lifting. Most days, we are busy checking the stocks or making sure the loading is happening on time. It gets quite dusty around here, especially in the afternoons when the wind picks up. We have a small area in the corner where we sit to do the paperwork. There are no fancy decorations or big signs inside the office. It is just a practical space for a pharmaceutical business. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of Bapunagar over the years. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually take our breaks when we have a spare moment. It’s a basic setup but it works for us. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily chores that come with running a place in an estate.
