Jay Shree Chamuda Furniture

We set up Jay Shree Chamuda Furniture at 5 Ashoka Avenue, which is near the Mahesh Tenament area right off NH 8. Being so close to the highway means there is always a lot of dust and noise, but it’s a good spot for people to find us. We mostly deal with everyday furniture that people actually need in their homes. You won't find anything too trendy or fragile here. We build things to last and to be used every day. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be careful about how we stack the wood and the finished pieces. Sometimes it feels a bit cramped when we have a few big orders going at once. We’ve been in Bapunagar for a while and we know the local regulars who walk past every day. It’s just a normal shop run by people who live nearby. We don't use any slick sales tactics. Usually, people come in, look at what we're making, and we talk about the size and the type of wood. It’s all very direct. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the tools, and other days we are working late into the night to finish a wardrobe. We’re just trying to make a living and provide something useful for the neighborhood. It’s a practical business and we don’t try to make it seem like anything else. Most of our work comes from people telling their neighbors about us. It is just a simple way to run things.
