Jasud Extrusions Pvt. Ltd.

If you walk down toward the Odhav bus stop, you’ll find us over at Final Plot No. 229/A. It’s easy to miss if you aren’t looking, but Jasud Extrusions Pvt. Ltd. has been operating out of this spot for a good while. The noise from the buses coming and going is basically the background music for our workday. Inside, it’s mostly about the extrusion lines and making sure the plastic or whatever material we are running that day comes out right. We don't have a big front office with a receptionist; usually, you just walk in and find one of us near the machines or checking the latest batch. It’s a bit dusty, as you’d expect from a place like this in Odhav, and there is always a bit of clutter on the workbenches. We try to keep things organized, but when orders come in fast, the floor gets crowded with finished parts and raw materials. Working here means getting your hands a bit dirty and dealing with the heat from the machinery. The tea break is usually the highlight of the afternoon when we can step away from the noise for a few minutes. It’s not a corporate setup with meetings and fancy slides, just a group of people making things and making sure the trucks get loaded on time. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but our plot stays pretty much the same. Most days are long, but we like the work.
