Jalaram Beads

Our shop, Jalaram Beads, is located at No. 1516, right opposite Oza's Khancha. We are in the Mamunayak Pole area on Tankshal Road. If you know this part of town, you know the lanes are narrow and full of history. We deal with all kinds of beads. The place is packed with jars and bags of every color you can imagine. It’s not a modern store with bright lights and glass cases. It is more of a traditional workshop where things are piled high. We’ve been in this spot for a long time. The floor is old stone and the shelves are made of heavy wood that’s seen a lot of use. It gets a bit dusty because of all the foot traffic in the Pole. We don't have a big team. It’s just a few of us who know where everything is kept. Sometimes it takes a minute to find a specific bead, but we always do. We don’t go in for any fancy advertising. Most of our customers have been coming to us for years. They know the way through the narrow lanes to find our door. It can get very crowded during festival seasons when everyone wants beads for their clothes or decorations. We just keep our heads down and serve the people who walk in. It’s a simple, honest business. We like being in Tankshal Road because it feels like the heart of the trade. It is a bit cramped but we manage fine.
