Our office for Jaihind Projects Ltd is situated over in Rehla, which is in the Palamau district of Jharkhand. Jay Kokate is usually the one you’ll find handling things here. We are actually located right by the Bihar Caustic & Chemicals site, which is part of the Aditya Birla Group. Being so close to a big industrial area means there is always something happening. We spend a lot of our time dealing with the logistics of different projects in this region. It’s a bit of a trek to get out here, but it’s where the work is. The environment around Rehla is very focused on industry and production, so our daily routine fits right in with that. We don’t have a lot of bells and whistles in our office. It’s a practical space designed for getting things done. We deal with various project components and try to keep everything on track. Sometimes the dust from the nearby plants gets into everything, but that’s just part of working in an industrial zone. We’ve been here long enough to know the local rhythms and the people working the other sites. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important work for the area. We just focus on our specific tasks and make sure the projects move forward. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the right people are in the right places at the right time. We just keep our heads down and finish the day's tasks.
