We started things here at Sumel Business Park-8 not too long ago. If you head up to the third floor and find shop B-308, that is where you will see us sitting. It gets pretty busy around Soni Ni Chal Char Rasta, but it is a good spot for a local office. Most days we are just handling paperwork and talking to people who walk in from Rakhial. We are not a big city bank with fancy carpets and glass walls. It is just a regular office where we keep track of things for the folks who join in. Most of our work involves managing the small savings people bring us. Being in Ahmedabad means it gets hot, so the fan is usually going while we sort through the files. Some people have been coming since we first opened the doors. We know most of them by name now. It is not anything fancy, just a desk and some chairs. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We try to keep things straightforward. No one here wears a suit unless there is a special reason. We just sit, do the counting, and make sure the ledgers are right. If you are near the park, you can just pop in. We usually have some tea around. It is a quiet way to run a business, but it works for us and the people around here in Ahmedabad.
