Working for Riviera Infrastructure. means we spend our days at Sankalp Greens. We are located near the Uma Bhavani railway crossing and the Navarang School Road. The sound of the trains passing by is something we have just learned to live with over the years. It’s actually helpful for keeping track of time without looking at a clock. Being near a school road means it gets very busy when the kids are going to class or heading home, so we try to time our truck movements carefully. Our office is a bit of a mess, truthfully. We have samples of gravel and concrete blocks sitting on the floor and stacks of invoices that need sorting. We don't really care much for how things look as long as we can find what we need to get the job done. It’s a practical workspace for people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. We usually have a radio playing in the background, mostly just for some noise while we work. The team is small, just a few of us who have known each other since we were younger. We talk about the projects, the local cricket scores, and what we’re having for dinner after work. It’s just a normal way to earn a living. We don't make a big deal out of anything, we just show up and do the hours every day to keep things moving.
