At Pravin Timber Works, we are based at Plot No. 1062/N/6 in the Sahakari Lati Bazar, Division-1. This area is full of wood shops. The smell of pine and teak is always in the air. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a long time now. The yard is usually packed with various cuts of timber. People come to us when they need wood for furniture or construction. We just help them find what fits their budget. It’s a dusty place. The saws make a lot of noise during the day. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just show you what we have in stock. The staff here knows a lot about different grades of wood. They know how they hold up over time. Sometimes the yard gets a bit disorganized when a big shipment comes in. We sort it out eventually. It is a local business through and through. We know our neighbors in the Lati Bazar. We’ve been through the ups and downs of the market together. Working with timber is a bit of a craft. We aren't making art, but we make sure the wood is solid. It is a simple life of measuring, cutting, and loading trucks. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. We’ve seen many types of wood come and go through our gates over the decades.
