J. R. Exports

Our office for J. R. Exports is at 711, Anil Road, right near the Anil Starch plant and Naroda Road. This part of town is always moving, especially with all the heavy vehicles that use Naroda Road to get in and out of the industrial zones. It’s a practical location for an export business like ours. Inside 711, things are pretty basic. We have our desks, some old computers, and stacks of paper that seem to grow every week. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s a working office where we handle the day-to-day tasks of moving goods. Sometimes it feels like all we do is answer phones and check shipping manifests, but that’s the reality of the trade. The heat can get a bit much in the middle of the day, especially with the sun hitting the side of the building, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People stop by frequently, usually drivers or folks from nearby businesses, and there’s always a bit of chatter. We don’t have a lot of rules about how things look, as long as the work is accurate and the shipments stay on schedule. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know. We’ve been part of the Anil Road scene for a while and we plan to stay put and keep doing our thing.
