J K Packaging (Odhav)

Our shop is at 48 Gopinath Estate, Part 2, near Soni’s Chawl Char Rasta. We are right behind Swaminarayan Chambers in Odhav Gam. This is a very industrial part of Ahmedabad. You can hear the sounds of machinery and trucks all day long. We do packaging work here. The office is really just a part of the warehouse space. There are rolls of plastic, stacks of cardboard boxes, and tape everywhere you look. It’s not the cleanest place because of all the materials we handle, but it’s where the work gets done. We spend our time measuring things and making sure the packaging is sturdy enough for the customers. Being near Soni’s Chawl means there is always a lot of local foot traffic. We have a small desk where we handle the billing and take orders. It’s a family-style environment even though it's an industrial estate. We know the other business owners in Gopinath Estate quite well. We don't have a big fancy website or anything like that. People usually just find us by coming to the estate or through word of mouth. The heat in Odhav can be intense, so we usually have a few big fans blowing in the warehouse. It’s honest work and we just try to get the orders out on time for our customers in the area. We work six days a week and rest on Sundays.
