J K Brahmin Co

Our office for J K Brahmin Co is over in Ambavadi, Ahmedabad. We’re at 8A Sankalp App, which is right across from the Viram App building and the Central Bank of India. It’s a good landmark to give people because the bank is hard to miss. The office is inside an apartment complex, so it feels a lot more like a home than a sterile workplace. We have a couple of rooms where we’ve set up our tables and storage units. It’s usually pretty quiet, except for when the local vendors go past on the street outside. We’ve been here for a good while, so we know all the other people in the building. We handle a variety of things, mostly administrative and coordination work. There isn't any fancy lobby or a coffee machine that does lattes; we just make a pot of tea in the small kitchen area when we need a break. The sunlight comes in quite nicely in the mornings, which is probably the best part of the office. We try to keep things tidy, but with all the ledgers and papers we use, it can get a bit cluttered by Friday. We don't really do much in the way of advertising; most people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve seen our name on the gate for years. It’s a straightforward, local operation and we like it that way.
