Total Timber

Total Timber is located out on the Viramgam Highway, specifically at Plot No. 109 in the Mahalaxmi Industrial Estate. It’s near Iyava and right by R. B. Polymers, so we get a lot of trucks passing by. Being in Sanand means there’s always something happening on the road. The smell of cut wood is the first thing you notice when you walk into our yard. It’s everywhere. We spend most of the day surrounded by stacks of timber and the sound of saws. It’s a dusty job, and by the end of the day, everyone is covered in it. We have a few sheds to keep the better wood dry when the monsoon hits. The guys working here know their wood types just by looking at the grain. We don’t use any high-tech systems for tracking things, just some old notebooks and a lot of memory. Sometimes the highway traffic makes getting things out a bit slow, but we’re used to it. The Mahalaxmi estate is a decent place to work, even if it gets a bit lonely out this way sometimes. We just focus on the wood and making sure people get what they asked for. We aren't trying to be the biggest company around, just a reliable place for timber. It’s a straightforward business, really. We buy it, we cut it, and we sell it.
