We set up our office here at Govind Plaza, right near the Kiran Park Bus Stand in New Vadaj. It’s a handy location since the bus stop is so close, making it easy for the staff to get in. Being on the fourth floor at A 403 gives us a bit of a view of the Ahmedabad streets, which are always moving. Itd Cementation India Limited has a lot going on in this region, so this space is mainly for the administrative side of things. It’s a regular office block, nothing too flashy. We spend our time looking over site reports and dealing with the logistics of the heavy construction work we do. There’s always a stack of blueprints somewhere and the sound of someone on the phone talking about concrete or piling work. Ahmedabad is a fast-growing place, and we are right in the middle of that growth. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but the office stays busy regardless. We aren't here to impress anyone with a lobby; we just need a solid place to manage the projects. Most days involve a lot of back-and-forth with the various sites. It’s a straightforward environment where the focus is strictly on the engineering tasks at hand. We've been in this New Vadaj spot for a bit and it suits the way we operate. It's just a place to work and get the paperwork sorted before heading back out. There is plenty of tea and coffee to keep us going through the long Gujarat afternoons.
