Moving people's furniture is a tough job and we do it every day from our base in Isanpur. Our office is at No. 27/2 on Vatva Road, inside Press Park Society. It’s mostly just a place where we park the trucks and store the packing crates. Vishal Safe Packers Movers started because there was a need for guys who weren't afraid of hard work. We have a small team of guys who are good at lifting heavy wardrobes and sofas. We use a lot of bubble wrap and old newspapers to keep things from breaking. It gets very dusty on the road. Sometimes the traffic in Ahmedabad is so bad that a short trip takes hours. We’ve had days where the rain started right when we were loading the truck. You just have to deal with it and keep moving. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. It’s just us and the tools of the trade. My cousin manages the phone calls and schedules the visits. We try to be careful with the boxes marked fragile, but things are heavy and the stairs are often narrow. We've seen all kinds of houses, from small flats to big bungalows. People are usually stressed when they’re moving, so we try to just get the work done without making a fuss. It’s a physical job and our backs ache by evening. But we’ve been doing this for a long time at Vatva Road.
