Intraguard

You can find us over at Taksha-Shila Appts in Vastrapur. We are right near Kameshwar Cross Roads, which is usually jammed with traffic during the evening hours. Our unit is B-52. It’s an older building, but it’s sturdy and keeps us out of the sun. We’ve been here long enough that we know all the shortcuts through the side streets to avoid the main road mess. Inside the office, it’s pretty basic. We have a few cupboards for files and some chairs that have seen better days. We don't have a big staff, just a handful of us who know how everything works. The window looks out onto the street, so we see a lot of what’s happening in the neighborhood. Vastrapur is a lively area, especially with all the shops and people around. Sometimes it’s hard to hear over the honking outside, but we just turn up the volume on the radio. We spend our time checking schedules and making sure things are moving as they should. It’s not a high-tech lab or anything like that. Just a local office where we handle our business. We keep some biscuits in the drawer for when things get busy and we can’t go out for lunch. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve grown fond of the creaky door and the way the light hits the floor in the afternoon.
