Even though the name says Interiors & Exteriors, Greater Kailash 1, New Delhi, we are actually working out of E / 33, Shiv Dhara Appts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It’s a bit of a weird situation with the names and the locations, but that’s just how business goes sometimes. We’ve been set up here near the Heritage Homes on Thaltej Shilaj Road for a while. Living and working in Thaltej is a bit quieter than the Delhi life, which is nice for getting things done. We spend our time working on houses around the neighborhood, doing everything from painting the outside walls to picking out tiles for the bathroom. We don’t have a big corporate team. It’s usually just a few of us coordinating with the laborers and making sure the supplies actually show up at the site. We’ve had plenty of times where things went wrong—the wrong color paint arrived or the measurements were off by an inch—but we always find a way to fix it. It’s just part of being in this business. We don't promise anything impossible. We just tell people what we can do and then we get to work. Most of our days are spent on the road or at a construction site, getting our hands dirty and making sure the walls are straight. It’s a practical way to make a living. We don't have a showroom, so we just bring samples over to your place and talk through ideas while sitting on whatever chairs are available. It's more direct that way.
