Impex India Corporation

Impex India Corporation is based out of Thakurpara in Purbaputiary. It’s not a very big operation, just a small office where we handle all our business. Most of our day is spent on the phone or on the computer, tracking where things are and when they might arrive. We deal with a lot of paperwork, and there are always stacks of documents on the desks waiting to be filed. It’s a lot of waiting for emails and then rushing to get things moving once we get the go-ahead. We don't have a big staff, so everyone ends up doing a bit of everything, from answering the door to packing up small samples to send out. The area around here is pretty quiet, which is nice when we need to concentrate on the numbers. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we just have to sit there and wait for it to come back so we can finish our work. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for news from the ports. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we’ve been doing it for quite a while now. We don't have a fancy lobby or any of that. If you come by, you’ll just see us working at our desks, surrounded by files and calendars. There’s usually a stray cat that hangs around the entrance, too.
