Ilesh Shah Photography

Ilesh Shah Photography is based out of the Maharaja Complex on University Road. We are up on the 5th floor in unit B 9. It’s a well-known area in Navrangpura, right near Vijay Char Rasta. Being on the 5th floor, we get a bit of a view of the street below, which is always packed with students and people heading to work. The studio isn't huge, but we make it work for what we need. We have backdrops hanging on one side and a few lights standing around. There are usually cameras and lenses sitting on the main table, along with a computer where the editing happens. It can get a bit messy with cables and tripod legs sticking out, so you have to watch your step. The building is older, and the elevator sometimes has a mind of its own, but it gets the job done. We don't have a big reception team or anything. Most of the time, it’s just us working through the shots we’ve taken or prepping for the next session. We keep some old photos pinned to the walls just to fill the space. It’s a comfortable enough spot, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. People stop by for different reasons, and we just try to be helpful. It’s a quiet place for most of the day, except for when we’re actually shooting. It’s just a straightforward photography workspace in a busy part of town.
