Hospital

Our clinic is located in the village of Parsad, which is in the Sarada Tehsil of Udaipur district. Vinod Kumar, the son of Tulsiram Choubisa, is the one in charge here. Being in a rural part of Rajasthan, we see a lot of people from the nearby farms and small settlements. The building is a modest one, right in the heart of the village. We don't have the fancy equipment or the many floors that you would find in a city hospital. We just have a few rooms where we see patients and keep our basic supplies. It is a very direct way of working. Someone comes in with a problem, and we do our best to help them right then and there. The community here is very close-knit, so we know almost everyone by name. We have seen children grow up and start their own families over the years we have been here. The summers are very hot and dry, and the dust from the roads often blows into the waiting area, but we just clean it up and keep going. We don't have a big staff, so everyone has to do a bit of everything. Whether it is cleaning the floor or talking to a patient, we just get it done. It is not a flashy place, but it is an important part of life for the people in Parsad. We just take things one patient at a time and try to be as helpful as we can for the folks who live out here.
