Home Depot (India) Pvt Ltd Durian Furn

Our spot is in the Shapath building, right across from the Rajpath Club. It's a very busy part of the Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway. We’re basically right next to Cargo Motors too. Home Depot (India) Pvt Ltd and Durian Furn share the space here. It’s a big area because furniture takes up a lot of room. We have sofas, tables, and all sorts of things for people's houses. On weekends, the highway gets packed and we see a lot of people just stopping in after lunch. The showroom is large, but it still feels a bit packed when we get a new container of stock. We spend a lot of time walking people through the different sections. It’s not like a regular office job. You are on your feet most of the day. Sometimes a delivery truck gets stuck in the highway traffic and we have to wait around to unload. That's just part of being on the SG Highway. We don't really have a script for how we talk to people. We just show them what we have and let them decide. The lights are bright and there is a lot of glass around. It’s a good location even if the noise from the road never really stops. We just try to keep the furniture looking good and the customers informed about what is available for their space.
