You can find us right opposite the Madhur Hotel near the Hirawadi BRTS stop. It’s a handy spot because the bus lets people off right near the door. We spend our days managing the inventory and talking to whoever walks in. The shop isn't very big but we pack a lot into it. Sometimes the same people come in twice a day just to chat while they pick up what they need. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything like that, just a few of us making sure things run. The street outside is always humming with the sound of the buses and the traffic from the hotel across the way. We keep the shelves stocked as well as we can. It’s a simple routine of opening up, cleaning the glass, and waiting for the morning rush. We know most of the people around Hirawadi by their first names. If the weather is nice, we might stand out front for a bit for some fresh air. It’s not the kind of place with a lot of rules, we just do the work as it comes. Sometimes the deliveries are late and we have to explain that to the customers, but they usually understand. We just focus on getting through the daily list of chores and making sure the shop stays open until the sun goes down. Most people know to look for the sign near the hotel entrance.
