We set up our office at number 41 in Sonalpark Society. It’s located near Bhagwati Society in the Nikol area of Gujarat. Working out of a residential society makes things feel a bit more relaxed than a typical commercial block. We know the neighbors, and it’s a fairly quiet place to get through our paperwork. Most of the time, we are busy looking at site plans or talking to vendors on the phone. It’s a simple space with enough room for our files and a couple of computers. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. In this part of Nikol, things move at their own pace. We start our day early to beat the heat, especially during the summer months. There’s a lot of coordination involved in what we do, from managing materials to checking on the labor at different sites. We usually have some tea around mid-morning while we discuss the day’s plan. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our job steadily. Being in a society means we have to be mindful of the residents, so we keep things orderly. It’s a practical way to run a business without all the extra overhead of a fancy downtown office. Sometimes clients come over to look at samples, and we just clear off the main table to show them what we have. It works for us. Our records are mostly kept in big folders on the shelves behind the desk.
