Hindustan Polyurethane

Over in Phase 4 of GIDC Naroda, right across from the Umiya Weigh Bridge, you’ll find Hindustan Polyurethane. The address is 801/E/1, though sometimes the numbers can be a bit tricky for people to find the first time they visit. It’s a very industrial part of town, always busy with trucks and heavy machinery moving around. We work with polyurethane, which means the smell of the workshop is quite distinct. It’s something you get used to after a day or two. Our team is small, mostly just local guys who know the trade well. We don't have a big shiny lobby or anything like that. Usually, you’ll find us in the workshop area checking on the molds or the raw materials. It’s hard work and it gets quite warm in this part of Gujarat, but that’s just the nature of the business. We focus on getting the mix right and making sure the pieces come out the way they should. There’s a lot of waiting for things to set and dry. We don’t really have any grand statements to make about what we do. It’s just a job that we’ve been doing for years. We know our regulars and they know where to find us. If the weigh bridge is busy, you might have to wait a minute to turn into our lane. It’s just a regular day here for us, and we like to keep it simple, just working through the orders as they come in each morning.
