If you are looking for Hindustan Construction Ltd, we are over at D-41 on the 5th floor of Sundivine 1. It’s right across from the Prasang Party Plot and behind Agarwal Mall, just off S.G. Road in Gota, Ahmedabad. Our office is up on the fifth floor, which gives us a decent view of the area, though we spend most of our time looking at blueprints and invoices. Being in Gota is great because the area is growing so fast, and there’s always something new being built. We aren't a big, cold company. We’re just a group of people who know how to manage a construction site. We deal with the usual mix of bricks, mortar, and local labor. Sometimes the heat in Ahmedabad makes the work really slow, but we try to keep the guys going and the projects on track. We don't have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls. We just want to get the buildings finished so people can use them. It’s a lot of coordination between the architects, the suppliers, and the guys on the ground. We’ve had our share of delays and problems over the years, but we always find a way to work through them. Most of our days are spent on the phone or driving between different sites around the city. It’s hard work, but we’re used to it by now and we just keep at it.
