Hindustan Construction Co. Limited is located over at 306, Shivam App. right across from Shailganga Society. We are in the Chandkheda area of Sabarmati, which is a busy part of Ahmedabad. If you know the 382424 pin code area, you probably know where we are. It’s an apartment-style office, so it feels more like a home than a big corporate building, which we actually prefer. Sabarmati is a good place to be based because everything is moving so fast around here. You can hear the traffic and the sounds of the city from our windows all day long. We spend a lot of time on our phones and computers trying to keep all the construction schedules straight. It’s not always organized perfectly, but we get the job done. Often, we have people dropping by from the society across the street just to say hello or ask about work. The stairs up to the third floor keep us in shape since we are up and down them constantly throughout the day. Living and working in Chandkheda means we are right in the middle of all the growth happening in Ahmedabad. We have our files stacked up and our maps on the wall, and that’s how we run things. It gets a bit loud sometimes with all the development, but that is just part of being in this business. We’ve been at this Shivam App. location for a while now and it suits us just fine for what we do. It’s a real working office.
