Himanshu A Shah

Being on the 3rd floor of Spectrum Commercial Centre means I’m right in the middle of the action on Salapose Road. My office is room 22. It’s a handy location since the GPO is just right there and Relief Cinema is just behind us. I’ve been working from this space for a while now. It’s just me, Himanshu A Shah, and a couple of assistants helping out with the heavy lifting of the paperwork. The office isn't anything to brag about. It’s just a place to work. I have my desk, some computers, and a lot of folders stacked up. The view out the window is mostly other buildings and the busy street. It’s never quiet here, which I actually quite like. It feels like being in the heart of Ahmedabad. I handle tax things and general consulting for people who need a bit of help with their finances. I don't use big words or try to sound like a corporate big shot. I just tell people what they need to do with their forms. We have a lot of regular people who come in every year. We know their families and their businesses. It’s more of a community thing than a cold business transaction. That’s why I stay in this building. It’s familiar and it works for what I do.
