Hero Plasrtic Industries

Our workshop is at number 6 in the Jaylaxmi Industrial Estate on Plot Number 5B in GIDC Odhav. We are right in the middle of a lot of other factories. We work with plastics here, mostly injection molding. The machines are big and they make a lot of noise, but we have gotten used to it over the years. You can always tell we are working because of the smell of warm plastic in the air. We make different kinds of plastic components for various industries. It is not a clean job; there is always some plastic scrap or oil on the floor. We don't have a big fancy office. Our desk is right in the corner of the workshop so we can see everything that is going on. We have been in Odhav for quite a while now and we know most of the other business owners nearby. We don't do much in the way of selling ourselves. We just make the parts and our customers come and pick them up. Sometimes the heat in Ahmedabad is really intense, which makes the factory even hotter, so we start early in the morning to get the most done before noon. We are just a regular group of people doing our jobs and making sure the plastic parts we produce are what the customers asked for. It is a decent way to work and we keep it simple.
