Harsiddh Clinic

Harsiddh Clinic has been here in Gomtipur for quite a long time now. We are situated right near the Rajpur-Gomtipur Post Office, which is a very busy spot. It’s a very local kind of place. I grew up not very far from this area myself. In this clinic, we see a lot of different people coming in with all sorts of health complaints. It’s not just one specific thing we do. We handle the basic medical needs for the folks living in this part of Ahmedabad. The area around us is always bustling with activity. You can hear the sounds of the local market and the street right from our front door. We don't have a fancy waiting room with expensive air conditioning that freezes you out. It’s just a normal, practical place with some chairs and a wooden desk. I know the names of most of the people who walk through the door. We often end up talking about the weather or how the local businesses are doing. It feels like more than just medicine; it’s about being a part of this neighborhood. My staff is very small, just a couple of us helping people out. We still keep most of our records in big ledgers. Sometimes it takes us a minute to find a specific file, but we always get there in the end. We aren't trying to be fancy, just helping neighbors.
