Our place, H K House, is situated on Plot No 533-3 along Naroda Road. If you’re looking for us, we’re right behind the Sindh Petrol Pump and near the fire station. It’s a very industrial part of the city, so there’s always the sound of machinery and trucks moving around. Harkalyan Castwell is a place where we deal with a lot of heavy work. The floor is concrete and usually has a bit of metal dust on it, no matter how much we clean. We’ve got our office area tucked into one side of the building, but most of the action happens out in the back where the casting goes on. It’s hot work, especially during the summer months in Gujarat. We’ve been at this location for years, and we’ve seen the neighboring plots change hands many times. We have a small crew of people who have been with us for a long time. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There’s a lot of checking orders and making sure the molds are right. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. We drink a lot of water and keep the fans running. People come by for meetings in the small room we have up front. We don't have fancy furniture, just some sturdy chairs and a big table for looking at drawings. It’s a practical setup for a practical business.
