Hardik Medical Store

If you are looking for us, we are right across from Gate No. 6 of the Cancer Hospital. The shop is on New Civil Hospital Road, near Meghani Road. It’s a very busy street because of all the people coming and going from the hospital at all hours. Hardik Medical Store has been here for years, and we see a lot of different people every day. Some are in a hurry, and some are just tired from waiting in the hospital across the street. We keep the shelves stocked as high as they can go with all sorts of medicines and supplies. It’s a small space, so it can get a bit crowded when four or five people come in at once. We spend most of our time reaching for boxes or checking prescriptions under the lights. The noise from the traffic outside never really stops, and the ambulances go by quite often with their sirens. We stay open late because people often need things at odd hours around here. There is always a bit of dust on the top shelves that we have to wipe down, and the floor gets a lot of footprints during the rainy season. It’s a straightforward job, just handing over the right medicine and making change. We don't have time for much else but keeping the shop running and helping the folks who walk through the door with their prescriptions.
