Our place is over at Plot No. 43 in the GIDC area. If you know the industrial estate, you know it’s mostly just rows of units and a lot of trucks moving around all day. It’s not the prettiest part of town, but it’s where all the work happens. We spend most of our time inside the unit, dealing with the machines and making sure the orders are moving along. The air always smells a bit like metal and grease, which is pretty standard for GIDC. We’ve been at this plot for a good bit now. It’s a decent size for what we do, and we’ve figured out how to fit everything in without it getting too crowded. Some mornings are a bit slow when the power acts up, but we usually manage to get things back on track pretty quick. It’s a lot of manual work and checking things over and over. We don’t have a front desk or a receptionist, so if someone comes by, one of us just wipes our hands and goes to see what they need. It’s a practical setup. We’re not trying to impress anyone with a fancy office. We just want to get the work finished and get home at a reasonable hour. Most of the other guys in the nearby plots are the same way, just regular people trying to run a business in a busy industrial zone.
