We are over at Plot 49 in the GIDC area. It's a standard industrial spot where we do our manufacturing work. There’s usually a bit of noise from the machines running, but that's just how it is in this part of town. We’ve been operating out of this shed for quite a few years now. The floor is concrete and we have our equipment set up in a way that makes sense for the flow of parts. It isn't the prettiest place, but it works for what we need to do. Most of us have been here since the start. We handle the daily production cycles and try to stay on top of the orders that come in. You'll find a lot of grease and metal around if you walk through. We don't have a big front office or anything, just a small desk area near the entrance where we keep the logs. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing in because the road gets crowded with other GIDC traffic, but we manage. It's a straightforward operation. We focus on getting the parts out the door on time. No fancy uniforms here, just work clothes and a lot of hands-on effort. It gets dusty, especially when the wind picks up, but the machines don't mind much. We’re just local people making things that people need for their own businesses. It’s a humble place, but it gets the job done every single day of the week.
