Our place is over at Plot No. 56 in the Gidc area. It is a straightforward setup for Heena Wire Pvt. Ltd. You will mostly find us dealing with different types of wire products throughout the day. The building is quite large because we need the space for the equipment and the raw materials that come in. Gidc is always humming with the sound of factories, and our plot is no different. The metal parts clink together and the machines have a constant rhythm that you get used to after a few days. We keep a close eye on the inventory piled up in the corners. It can get dusty inside when the large doors are open for loading. We usually have a few trucks lined up outside waiting to pick up orders or drop off supplies. The staff here at Plot 56 has been working together for a good stretch of time. We know the routines by heart now. Lunch usually happens in a small area we set aside, away from the noise of the production floor. The floors are concrete and they have some marks from moving heavy stuff around over the years. We don't really bother with fancy decorations because this is a place for hard work. Every evening we shut down the power and lock up the gates. It is a simple life centered around the work we do here in the industrial estate. We have been at this location long enough that the surroundings feel like home.
