Desai Corporation

Desai Corporation is located at Plot No. 129 in the Gidc area. We have been here for a while now and the place feels like home to most of us. The office is small and usually filled with stacks of papers and old ledgers that need sorting. We don't really have a lobby or a receptionist, so you just kind of walk in and find whoever is available. Most of the time, the guys are out on the floor or loading up a truck at the back bay. The road outside gets pretty muddy during the monsoon, making it a bit of a mess to get things moved in and out. We just deal with it as it comes. We aren't a big operation, just a handful of people who have been working together for years. We know each other's habits and how the machines sound when they are working right. It gets noisy during the day, so we have to talk loud to be heard over the hum of the equipment. We keep a cooler of water by the door because the heat gets thick under the tin roof in the summer. Every Saturday we try to clean up the workspace a bit, though it never stays clean for very long. It is just the way it goes in this line of work. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't, just a local spot doing our bit every day.
