The shop is located in Ranchhod Estate, right across from Bharvi Tower. If you know Ctm Char Rasta, you know how loud it gets with all the traffic from National Highway 8. Amraiwadi is an industrial sort of place, so there is always the sound of metal clanging or trucks reversing nearby. We handle a mix of things here, from steel cupboards for homes to some engineering work for bigger projects. The space is filled with the smell of cut metal and sometimes fresh paint. It’s not the kind of place where you’d wear a suit. We are usually in our work clothes, moving sheets of steel or checking the welding on a frame. The heat in the estate can be pretty intense during the summer months, but we have a few big fans going. We don’t have a fancy reception area. Usually, people just walk into the workspace and find us. We’ve got our tools spread out and different projects at various stages of being finished. It’s a bit messy, but that’s because we are actually making things here. We deal with a lot of local contractors and families who want something that will last a long time. It is a straightforward business, and we like it that way. No need for anything complicated when you are working with steel and machines every day. We keep the machines running from early morning until the sun goes down, just trying to stay on schedule.
