You can find us at Gurudev Developers in office 104 at Viraj Plaza. It’s located in the Bhattha area of Paldi. We spend most of our time thinking about buildings and how to get them finished on time. The office is a bit small, but it’s where all the planning happens. There’s always a stack of papers on the desk and a pot of tea brewing somewhere. We started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and build things in our own neighborhood. Paldi is a busy place, and being in Viraj Plaza means we get a lot of people walking in just to ask questions about property. We don't have any scripted answers for them. We just tell them what we know about the local land and the costs. Some days are stressful when the labor doesn't show up or the cement price goes up without any warning. That’s just part of being a developer, I guess. We spend a lot of time walking around construction sites, getting our shoes dirty and making sure everything is aligned properly. It is not a glamorous job, despite what people think about real estate. It’s mostly just making phone calls, checking measurements, and trying to stay within a budget that always seems to want to grow. We like being in Paldi though. It feels like home and we know the streets around here like the back of our hands.
