S R Buildcon

S R Buildcon is based behind the Passport Office on University Road. It is a busy part of the city, but being tucked away behind the main building means we don’t get too much of the direct street noise. We have been here for a while and most people know us by now. The office is usually a bit of a mess with folders and site drawings everywhere, but we know where everything is. We don't have any interest in being a fancy corporate entity. We just like to build things and make sure the work is done properly. Our team is small, mostly just a few guys who have worked together for years. We spend our mornings going over the progress of our current sites and the afternoons dealing with the admin side of things. University Road always has a lot going on with the students and the offices nearby, so there is a good energy to the place. We often grab lunch from one of the local stalls nearby. We don't make big promises or use a lot of fancy words. We just tell people what we can do and then we go out and do it. It’s not a complicated way to run a business, but it works for us. Most of our clients come from recommendations from other people we’ve worked with in the past. We’re just regular people trying to do a good job in the construction business.
