You can find us on the 7th floor of the Mangal Jyot Tower, room 704. We are right on Jodhpur Gam Road, just off the Jodhpur Cross Road in Ahmedabad. It’s a pretty busy area with a lot of shops and traffic all around. We are the Ahmedabad branch of the urban development company. Being in a tower like this is a bit different from the Gandhinagar offices. It’s a bit more fast-paced here. We handle a lot of the local development projects for the city. From up here, we can see a lot of the city we are actually working on. We spend our time meeting with engineers and going over the project files for different sectors. It’s a lot of coordination. Most of us have worked in development for years, so we know the city’s layout by heart. We don't have any flashy brochures or a big marketing team. We just focus on the task at hand, which is usually making sure the infrastructure projects stay on track. The elevators in this building can be a bit slow in the mornings when everyone is trying to get to work. It’s a practical office where we get through the daily grind. We deal with a lot of technical stuff and budget reports. It’s a job that keeps us on our toes, but we like being right in the middle of Ahmedabad. There is always someone coming in for a meeting or a site visit report update.
