You’ll find us at A-202 in the Gangotri Apartments. We are right by Nehru Park, off Lad Society Road in the Vastrapur area. It’s a busy part of Ahmedabad, so there is always something going on outside. Since we are in an apartment building, it feels a bit different than a standard government office. It’s more personal, I guess you could say. We are part of the bigger police housing group based in Gandhinagar, but we handle things from this Vastrapur location. My desk is usually covered in site reports and schedules for the different housing blocks we manage. It’s not a huge space, but we make it work for everyone. Most of the guys here are local, so we know the city pretty well. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out visiting sites to check on how the construction is going. It's a lot of back and forth between the office and the field. Vastrapur is a nice area, even if parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes near the park. We’ve been in Gangotri for some time now. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a big lobby or anything like that. Just a few rooms where we get the planning done. It’s steady work, making sure the police force has decent places to live. We just keep our heads down and do what's required for the day. It’s not flashy, but we manage to stay on top of the projects most of the time.
