Our place is at 6 Dwarkanagar Society in Nobel Nagar. We are quite close to the airport and Bhagwatinagar. You can’t really miss the sound of the planes; they go overhead all the time and it makes the windows rattle a bit. The workshop is a bit of a mess most days. We have wood shavings on the floor and tools scattered on the benches. We focus on making things like cupboards and basic home furniture. It is honest work and it keeps our hands busy. Nobel Nagar is a quiet enough residential area compared to the city center, but we still get our share of dust and heat. We spend the mornings getting the heavy lifting out of the way before it gets too hot to move. There isn’t much to say about the shop itself. It’s a functional space with a roof that leaks just a tiny bit when the monsoon hits hard. We usually have a radio playing in the background to keep things lively while we work. The neighbors are nice, and we often share a cup of tea with the guys from the nearby shops. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows each other. We don’t have any big corporate goals; we just want to get the orders finished and keep the shop running. It’s a simple life surrounded by the smell of cut wood and the noise of the airport nearby.
